These are the rules every guide and tool on TweakSage follows.
Accuracy
- Every guide is checked on a real device before publishing. The device and date are shown at the top of the guide.
- Steps for devices we don’t own, and facts we did not test ourselves, come from the maker’s own documentation, listed under Sources. The guide says when that is the case.
- We update guides when software updates change the steps, and log each change at the bottom of the guide.
Use of AI
We use AI writing tools to help draft and edit text. A person follows every step on a real device and checks every fact against a source before anything is published. AI never decides what we recommend, and it never writes the “Steps checked on” note.
Independence
- No company pays for a place in our guides or for what we say about its products.
- If we ever receive a product for free, the guide says so.
- Affiliate links, if we use them, are marked, and they never change which product or method we recommend.

Posts paid for by partners are labelled Sponsored at the top, their links carry rel="sponsored", and they are kept off our homepage. Read the full sponsored content policy.
Corrections
If you find an error, tell us through the contact page. We correct it, note the correction in the guide’s change log, and do not quietly rewrite history.
