Everything here is read by your own browser. Nothing is sent to us or stored.

How this works

Your browser shares some details with every website it opens: the system, the browser, the screen size and pixel density. This page reads them on your device and shows them in plain words. Nothing is sent to us or saved.

Why iPhones show a short list instead of one model

Apple does not tell websites which iPhone you have. What a website can see is the screen size and pixel density, and several iPhones share the same screen. So this page shows the models that match your screen. Display Zoom (Settings > Display & Brightness) changes the reported screen size, so the match can be off if you use it.

Find your exact model in Settings

iPhone

  1. Open Settings and tap General, then About.
  2. Model Name shows the name, for example iPhone 16.
  3. Model Number shows the exact version. Tap it to switch between the part number and the A-number.

Samsung Galaxy

  1. Open Settings and tap About phone.
  2. Look at Model name and Model number. Samsung model numbers start with SM-, for example SM-S921B.

Google Pixel and other Android phones

  1. Open Settings and tap About phone. On some phones it is under System.
  2. Look at Device name or Model.

When you need the model number

Model numbers matter when you buy a case or screen protector, check if a phone supports eSIM or 5G bands, or book a repair. The marketing name alone can cover several versions sold in different countries.
